Kathryn Sullivan -MiraGold Founder

Organisational Development Specialist

Trustee, Chair, Governor, Non-Exec Director, Associate trainer, Consultant, Committee Member, Parent, Theatre-lover, Dog-owner

There are many aspects that make up who I am and how I operate.

I specialise in Governance, having been a trustee for over 12 years, currently embarking on my second role as chair, alongside my positions as a primary school governor, a Non-Exec Director of a Community Interest Company and a committee member for a local theatre charity. I am also a member of both the National Governance Association and the Association of Chairs. I am an associate trainer for Getting

My favourite part of my work is guiding trustees through governance processes to instil confidence in their own abilities to make great decisions and change the path of their organisations for the better.

I founded MiraGold in 2019 to build on my experience of working across the UK for a national educational organisation. Every team, big or small, needs an external point of view to help shape its journey – MiraGold will provide valuable insights and practical tools to allow each member of that team to flourish.

Every organisation is unique, with differing priorities and needs – that’s why MiraGold’s services are bespoke, every time.

Educated at Northumbria University, I spent 14 years living in Newcastle and am now based in West Yorkshire with a husband, two children, and a Cockapoo!

Carys Jones

HR Specialist

Associate Consultant

Bringing more than just her extensive HR background to MiraGold, it is with great pleasure that we announce our professional association with Carys Jones.

With an MA in Human Resources and a level 7 qualification in Consulting, Carys will be advising MiraGold on relevant projects and delivering consultancy directly to clients who need her specialist knowledge.

An experienced trustee, Carys understands what trustee boards need when considering HR issues, as well as having herself led on a significant organisational change project with her current employer.

Here's what Carys herself had to say about working with MiraGold:

"I am delighted to be joining your venture as an associate consultant. OD can mean different things to different people, I believe that it plays a vital part in the shaping an organisation's intentions around growth, consolidating its identity, shaping the design of an organisation to support performance and strategic goals. I bring an ability to take a holistic view of organisational strategy and translate it into organisation design opportunities, development approaches and practical HR based solutions – from policies through to job design.

I feel that  employee and stakeholder engagement is a vital part of any organisational development work, putting culture at the heart of change. I’m passionate about what I can do to support Boards and leadership teams to align organisational development and governance strategies."
